The 12-month programme combines a theoretical component aligned to an NQF learnership with practical, on-site workplace experience.

The programme is designed to improve the workplace readiness, professional skills and performance of entry-level learners.

Learners will develop foundational skills in:

  • Basic business principles
  • Customer service
  • Business operations
  • Business accounting
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Mathematics Literacy

During the practical workplace component, learners will provide administrative support to managers and departments while gaining valuable exposure to a professional working environment.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Have a completed National Senior Certificate (Grade 12/Matric)
  • Be between 18 and 29 years old
  • Be currently unemployed
  • Not currently be studying, either full-time or part-time
  • Be available to participate in the full 12-month learnership programme

What Will Learners Do?

Successful candidates will be expected to:

  • Participate in the Sasol learnership programme
  • Successfully complete the required assessment process
  • Participate in workplace readiness activities and exercises
  • Provide administrative support to managers and departments
  • Apply newly acquired administrative and business skills in the workplace
  • Complete the required theoretical and practical learning components
