Who Can Apply?
Applicants generally need to meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification
- Be a South African citizen by birth
- Be unemployed
- Be between 18 and 34/35 years old, depending on the specific listing
- Belong to a previously disadvantaged group
- People living with disabilities are encouraged to apply
The Johannesburg, Soweto/West Rand and Mafikeng listings specify an age range of 18–34, while the Eastern Cape listings specify 18–35. Applicants should therefore check the requirements attached to their preferred location before applying.
