Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Have a Grade 12 (Matric) / NQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent recognised by SAQA.
  • Be between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Have a valid driver’s licence.
  • Have no criminal record.
  • Have no visible tattoos.
  • Be medically, mentally and physically fit to undergo the training programme.
  • Not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm in terms of the Firearms Control Act, 2000 (Act No. 60 of 2000) or any relevant legislation.

Key Competencies

Successful candidates should demonstrate:

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good written communication skills.
