Epiroc is inviting applications from ambitious South African youth for its 2026 Apprenticeship Programme based in Krugersdorp, Gauteng. The programme offers practical training, mentorship, and hands-on experience in engineering and equipment servicing.
Successful candidates will join Epiroc’s Equipment & Service business area and receive industry exposure while working alongside experienced professionals.
Available Apprenticeship Opportunities
Epiroc is recruiting for the following apprenticeship positions:
- 2 x Millwright Apprentices
- 2 x Fitter Apprentices
- 2 x Turner Machinist Apprentices
- 2 x Tool, Jig and Die Maker Apprentices
Purpose of the Apprenticeship
The programme is designed to help apprentices:
- Develop technical and engineering skills.
- Gain practical workplace experience.
- Learn equipment maintenance and rebuild processes.
- Participate in structured training and mentorship programmes.
- Build a long-term career in the engineering and mining industries.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate).
- At least two languages, including English.
- Mathematics (Pure or Technical).
- Physical Science.
- A minimum of two additional subjects.
Advantageous qualifications:
- Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) or Engineering Drawing.
- Engineering Diploma (Mechanical or Electrical).
Technical Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Minimum N2 qualification with:
- Fitting Theory
- Electrical Theory
Additional advantages:
- Basic knowledge of electronics.
