Steinmüller Africa in partnership with Bilfinger Intervalve Africa is offering Apprenticeships in Boilermaking or Welding based in Bethal, Mpumalanga.


Location

Bethal, Mpumalanga (Near Kriel Power Station)

⚠️ Applicants must live within a 50 km radius or be willing to relocate at own cost.

Key Notes:

The apprenticeship spans over a minimum period of 36 months.
The candidates will have to complete the prescribed merSETA modules (Theoretical and Practical) and gain job experience during the period to qualify for a trade test.
The candidates will have to pass the applicable trade test to qualify as an Artisan before the end of the apprenticeship period.
At the end of the apprenticeship and successful completion of the Trade test the candidate will have a formal qualification equivalent to NQF level 4 as a Qualified Artisan in Boilermaking or Welding.
Complete various tasks/assignments as allocated by the Mentor/Training Officer.
Provide practical support to production/site as and when required.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 with Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) & Physical Science
OR N2 Engineering qualification (advantageous)
Must be 35 years or younger
Medically fit
Clear criminal record
Proof of residence (required for those residing within the Municipality)

Proof of residence (mandatory)
