About the Programme
The Shoprite Group’s Transport division offers a graduate programme where Transport trainees rotate through various departments and functions.
The programme is designed to integrate graduates into the business while providing them with the knowledge, skills and practical exposure needed to develop within the Transport environment.
Graduates will gain exposure to transport operations, fleet management, data analysis, continuous improvement, compliance, customer service and business projects.
What You’ll Do
As part of the Transport Graduate Programme, you will:
- Rotate through various Transport departments and/or functions.
- Gain end-to-end knowledge of Transport operations.
- Learn and apply best practices in fleet management and operational processing.
- Analyse operational data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and service levels.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and business projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop leadership skills through coaching, mentoring and practical management experience.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety, quality and operational standards.
- Support the delivery of exceptional customer service through efficient Transport operations.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- Contribute innovative ideas that support operational excellence and business performance.
What You Bring
Qualification

- BCom Logistics Management
- Transport Management
- Economics
- Supply Chain Management
- Related qualifications
Experience
Applicants should have:
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Transport or Logistics environment
