📌 About the Internship
Oracle is offering an exciting Business Operations Internship for recent graduates who are looking to gain hands-on experience in sales operations, data analysis, and business processes within a leading global technology company.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates who have not previously participated in an internship or held a permanent role for more than 12 months.
In line with the Employment Equity Act (1998), preference will be given to candidates from designated groups.
🎯 Purpose of the Role
As a Business Operations Intern, you will support the Sales Operations Manager in improving operational efficiency, maintaining high-quality sales pipeline data, and supporting accurate forecasting and reporting. You’ll work closely with Sales, Pre-Sales, and Business Operations teams while building strong analytical and professional skills.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Assist in streamlining sales operations and workflows
Monitor and maintain sales pipeline data quality and health
Support weekly forecast updates for Commercial and Public Sector teams
Extract, analyze, and report on pipeline and deal data
Attend weekly sales meetings and track deal progress
Participate in account planning sessions and conduct customer financial research
Collaborate with Sales Reps and Pre-Sales teams to improve productivity
Complete relevant Oracle certifications
Provide administrative and reporting support to the Business Operations team
Attend customer and partner meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
🎓 Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
B.Com in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, IT, or Informatics
Desirable:
B.Com or BSc in Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, IT, Business Administration, or related fields
