The Department of Home affairs has partnered with various banks to simplify the accessibility of IDs to South Africans with general access to the internet. It is encouraged to make use of the initiative on the available DHA online platform to make bookings for applications and collecting IDs at a designated bank branch.

Here is the list of branches in a province and cities of your convenience, this excludes North West & Free State as there are no announced rollouts as yet.

1. Northern Cape – Standard Bank Kathu Mall.

6. Western Cape – Standard Bank Canal Walk, Absa Stellenbosch, Nedbank St Georges Mall, FNB Greenpoint and Standard Bank Mitchell’s Plain Promenade.
7. Gauteng – Discovery Bank Head Office – Sandton, Absa ( Sandton City, Centurion Lifestyle Centre, Key West Krugersdorp, Towers – Johannesburg CBD), FNB ( Centurion Lifestyle Centre, Glen Shopping Centre, Lynwood, Merchant Place in Sandton, Nedbank (Rivonia, Constantia Kloof and Arcadia), Standard Bank ( Centurion, Simmonds Street, Killarney Mall and Jubilee Mall.
