General Requirements:
Must be South African-born African, Coloured, or Indian youth as defined in the BBBEE Act
Must be between the ages of 18–27 before the start date of 01 May 2026
Must have Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent (post-matric qualifications are advantageous)
Must be unemployed at the time of placement as of 01 May 2026
Must not have previously participated in the YES Programme
Must have a tax number or be prepared to request one
Must provide a certified copy of their ID and required documents
Must have a police clearance certificate or be prepared to request one
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R5241
Proficiency in English (spoken, written, and reading) is required
