Columbus Stainless is offering a Metal Manufacturing Learnership Programme in Middelburg, Mpumalanga for 2026.
This 2-year learnership programme gives candidates practical workplace training while working toward a MERSETA Metals Manufacturing Qualification (NQF Level 2). Successful learners may gain valuable experience in a metals production environment, which can open doors to future employment in the manufacturing sector.

Minimum Requirements
To apply for the Columbus Stainless Learnership, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Grade 12 / N3 qualification
Mathematics (minimum 40%) OR Maths Literacy (minimum 60%)
Science (minimum 40%)
Must be a South African citizen
Must be medically fit for training
Good technical ability and hand-eye coordination
Fast learner with strong discipline and work ethic
Willing to work shifts and overtime in a 24-hour operation
Preference Will Be Given To
Preference will be given to candidates who:
Live in the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality area
Have crane licences
Have experience operating heavy equipment such as:
Overhead cranes
Mobile cranes
Front-end loaders
Have experience in melting or rolling mills environments
