This learnership programme provides unemployed South African youth with the opportunity to gain technical training and practical workplace experience in various engineering trades. Successful candidates will work toward qualifying as Artisans with a recognised trade certificate.

Boilermaker
Fitter
Electrician
Auto Electrician
Instrumentation
Rigger
Diesel Mechanic
What the Learnership Includes
Successful candidates will:
Enter into a learnership agreement with the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA)
Complete theoretical and practical trade training
Participate in On-the-Job training modules
Attend Basic and Advanced Engineering Skills courses
Assist artisans with technical and maintenance tasks
Complete workplace readiness assessments and evaluations
The programme combines structured training and workplace exposure to prepare learners for qualification as artisans.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory subjects
Medically fit
Proficient in English
Willing to undergo psychometric assessments
