Minimum Requirements
To qualify, you must have:
Grade 12 Certificate with Mathematics & Physical Science (50% and above required)
N2 Certificate from a TVET/FET College including:
Mathematics
Diesel Trade Theory
Engineering Drawings
Engineering Science
Willingness to complete both practical and theoretical training
Able to travel to various sites across South Africa
Advantage:
Experience in a vehicle maintenance or workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
As an Earthmoving Mechanic Apprentice, you will:
Assist qualified artisans with repairs and servicing
Support workshop operations and attend breakdowns in the field
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety culture
Carry out reasonable instructions from Team Leaders
Gain hands-on industry experience to become a qualified artisan
