Bridgestone South Africa is offering an exciting Production Learnership Programme for young, motivated individuals who want hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing environment. This learnership is based in Brits and is ideal for candidates interested in production, engineering, and manufacturing processes.
You’ll be trained to safely assemble tyres while working as part of a production team and meeting set performance targets.
🎓 Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 or N3 Certificate
- Mathematics (Pure Maths) and/or Physical Science
- Proficiency in English (spoken & written)
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Production Learner, you will:
- Follow all workplace health & safety regulations
- Wear provided PPE at all times
- Conduct risk assessments on equipment
- Maintain 3S standards in your work area
- Check machine controls before operation
- Remove and return empty spools, trolleys, and rolls
- Push finished raw covers into storage bays
- Supply materials and solutions to machines
- Work effectively as part of a production team
- Meet daily production targets under the learnership programme
