📌 Overview
The University of Johannesburg, in partnership with Prof. Letlhokwa Mpedi and his family, invites applications for the Mpedi Family Scholarship for Neurodiversity Studies (2026).
This scholarship supports the advancement of knowledge in neurodiversity, focusing on responding to the educational needs of children and youth with neurodevelopmental differences. The aim is to build an inclusive society where learning needs are understood and respected.
📚 Eligibility Requirements
To apply, candidates must:
- Be registered full-time at the University of Johannesburg for a Master’s degree by research within the Faculty of Education.
- Have a research focus on neurodevelopmental learning needs.
- Maintain a minimum average of 65% in their previous qualification.
- Be a registered UJ student during the scholarship year.
- Local and international students are eligible.
- The Mpedi family reserves the right not to award the scholarship in any given year.
